How can I fix a ripped cloth? How to fix a hole in a tufted piece

Rips in your tufting cloth can happen for various reasons. Follow this link to learn how to prevent this.

If you have a rip or hole in your tufted piece you first want to finish the rest of your tufting. Just leave the hole as it is.

Once you are done, tuft the missing piece of your hole/rip outside of your piece so it will fit in the missing part.

Keep finishing / glueing the piece as usual and then you can put your extra piece in the hole.

You can now hand sew it in and additionally protect it with glueing on the final backing.

Pictures and a video will follow soon!
