My cloth is ripping while tufting. Why does my cloth rip?

If your cloth is ripping these reasons could be the problem:

– You’re not using actual tufting cloth. Don’t use burlap or monks cloth, follow this link to read why.
– You did not stretch your cloth properly. This thing has to be as tight as possible. Follow this link to learn more.
– You overworked your cloth. If you are not moving with the gun, you overwork the cloth at this point. This can cause it to rip.
– Go for straight lines until you feel comfy with it. Only then move on to curvy stuff.

Follow this link for a tutorial on how to fix rips/holes in your cloth.
